26 week picture

Although it looks more like 40 weeks with a "singleton" (we are learning the multiples lingo).

New ultrasound of our little boy

Here he is from a Friday ultrasound. Our little girl is looking great, too -- we just didn't get a pic of her this time.

Twenty-six weeks today!

Our first 'prepping for multiples' class

Friday night, Karin and I spent 3 hours in a class with a bunch of other couples who were having multiples. A few of the things we learned:

1) It's OK to exercise when you're pregnant, unless it isn't.

2) There are lots of different foods you should eat and some you should avoid, but no one seems to agree on what they are.

3) Hemorrhoids are like varicose veins of the anus.

I'm hoping it will get better in the weeks to come. The people in the class seem nice.

After the class, Karin said "I want ice cream. And that's what I want." So we went to Scoop Du Jour in Madison Park. Tonight? We're going to the 'Sex and the City' movie.

We can't wait to meet our new little buggers. Could be less than single digits of weeks left!

Karin's Second Week Off Work

Time is still flying! I can't believe I have been off work for 2 weeks already. No boredom in sight (I am one to be content with open days - I don't feel the need to fill them). I also have not watched one episode of Roseanne this week. Other than watching The Real World I actually have not been watching much TV. Speaking of The Real World - it is SO different than it was in the nineties! Funny how back in the early nineties the people were so much older than me...now they are a good 10 years younger!

P.S. They most certainly are

I would like to second the fact that the twins are active. Infact, Baby A (the boy) has been kicking me in the bladder all day. His feet must be resting on just the right spot.

The twins are active!

Dave here. I felt them kick for the first time about a week ago. Tonight they were super active and I felt them a lot!

Last week I put the changing table together with some use of a hammer (even though that tool was not included in the "needed tools" part of the instructions). But I think it looks pretty good. The cribs are next!

Karin's First Week Off Work

My first week being off from work went really fast! The funny thing is, I am not sure what I really did! I was tired after a long walk one day so I put my feet up to rest while I watched a little TV. Next thing I knew, I was into my third episode of Roseanne on the Oxygen Channel! My TV habits will have to be monitored closely.
